How we transformed the Oriflame catalog into an interactive and engaging digital experience

Oriflame, an international beauty and direct selling company, historically relied on its printed catalog as a key sales tool. The team needed to make the leap to the digital environment to reach more people, reduce its dependence on paper, and offer a more dynamic experience to its partners and end customers.
The challenge was to maintain the clarity and warmth of the physical catalog, but adapt it to an interactive online format that would work equally well on mobile and desktop, and that would facilitate the work of the sales force distributed across different countries.

Design solution

We worked on adapting the catalog to a navigable digital format, reorganizing the information to make better use of the screen: we hierarchized product families, optimized reading on mobile devices and designed interactive elements (links, internal navigation, calls to action) so that the user could move through all the content with just a few clicks.
In addition to transferring Oriflame's visual identity to the digital environment, we took care of the visual tone and storytelling so that the catalog felt approachable and easy to share among partners and customers, respecting the aspirational essence of the brand.

Results and benefits

The digital catalog allowed Oriflame's main sales tool to be available 24/7 from any device, making it easier for partners to share the online catalog with their networks and reach many more people than with the traditional printed version.
The interactive experience reduced friction in the purchasing process: fewer steps to explore categories, greater clarity in the presentation of offers, and more intuitive navigation, resulting in more intensive use of the digital catalog by partners and a more comfortable experience for customers.
By centralizing the catalog in an online environment, Oriflame also gained flexibility to update content more frequently, test messages, and support specific campaigns without the time and costs of reprinting.

Conclusion

The digital catalog allowed us to stay connected with customers, even when a physical catalog couldn't be delivered. Today, partners constantly share it on their social networks and chats, making the shopping experience much smoother.
